Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey exploring a potential new holiday park at the Quinns Rocks Caravan Park site. More than 1, residents, ratepayers, stakeholders, businesses, industry groups and potential visitors – from across the City and Perth metropolitan area – participated in the survey, which closed on Friday, 14 February The business case will help Council consider the potential alternatives for the site.
The business case is now expected to be completed in the coming months, at which time it is intended that the findings will be presented to Council.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club has released a list of its campsites that will be reopening on July 4. The organisation, which has around , members, has been busy preparing its sites for when the Government gives the green light to reopen. The club is planning a phased reopening starting with campsites in England and Scotland to ensure they are adapted to the new social distancing and safety requirements set out by the UK government.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club previously announced campsites in Scotland would open on the 15 July, but they have now revised that date. Two weeks ago the Caravan and Motorhome Club announced they were set to reopen in Scotland from July 15 — with strict new safety measures in place on all sites. In an email sent to members on June 30 the club said they were bringing that date forward in line with government advice. A full list of club campsites that are closed or open from 4 July in England, 10 July in Scotland and 13 July in Wales can be found on the website.
They have also increased the rigour of cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting common areas and making sure that the middle of each camping pitch is at least 6m from the next. By Joe Smith.
